Cauca Colombie

Rare, powerful and elegant

Cauca Colombia – Specialty Coffee, a Symbol of Peace and Sustainable Commitment

Discover our specialty coffee from the Cauca region of Colombia — a land of resilience, peace, and agricultural expertise. Grown by a community dedicated to sustainable farming practices, this coffee represents much more than a beverage: it’s a message of hope and transformation.

The cup is smooth and indulgent, with notes of cereal, milk chocolate, nuts, and a subtle fruity touch. It is carefully hand-harvested, fermented for 8 to 12 hours depending on altitude, then sun-dried on raised beds to preserve its full aromatic richness.

Gleb's advice

A coffee that makes no apologies for being strong. To tame its intensity, I recommend tamping it a little harder than usual. This will slow the extraction just enough to achieve a syrupy texture, almost like a coffee liqueur. Enjoy it as a pure ristretto for an aromatic explosion.

The ideal recipe

Espresso:18g of coffee for a short shot of 30-34g (25-28 sec). The result should be dense, topped with a thick, dark crema. On the palate, there's a bold attack of bitter cocoa that gives way to a long, elegant finish of blond tobacco.
