Cataratas Brew – Pérou
High-altitude Arabica with notes of yellow fruits, smooth caramel, and hazelnut cocoa, medium roasted.**
Cataratas Brew is an organic Peruvian specialty coffee grown at 2,100 meters in the Amazonas region. It is a washed Arabica composed of Bourbon, Caturra, Typica, and Tabi varieties. Medium roasted, it is ideal for filter brewing(V60, Chemex, Kalita) as well as smooth, modern espresso.
In the cup, Cataratas Brew reveals a fruity and floral profile, complemented by delicate notes of caramel and light hazelnut sweetness. This is a coffee that showcases its terroir rather than its roast, making it an excellent choice for filter brewing and elegant modern espresso.

A coffee that doesn't try to impress with its strength, but with its finesse. To bring out its terroir, I recommend a normal tamp, without forcing: let the water do the work. You'll get a fluid, bright texture, almost like a very aromatic tea, with notes of yellow fruits and honey. Enjoy it as a modern espresso (a bit longer than usual) to fully appreciate the complexity of Peru, without unnecessary bitterness.
Espresso:18g of coffee for a short shot of 30-34g (25-28 sec). The result should be dense, topped with a thick, dark crema. On the palate, there's a bold attack of bitter cocoa that gives way to a long, elegant finish of blond tobacco.
