Always rinse the filter with hot water before adding the coffee: it removes the paper taste and preheats the carafe.
The ideal recipe
  • 30 g of coffee, medium grind (like sea salt)
  • 500 g of water at 94 °C
  • Bloom the coffee with 60 g of water, wait 45 seconds
  • Pour the rest in slow circles, in 3 or 4 stages
  • Total time: 4 min to 4 min 30
